Let’s start with the easy stuff. Starting Thursday, Nightcrawler’s release event with be a 3 day variant (3×24) of The Hunt, meaning Florida will be cut down to a 24 hour sub. This is great news for people who felt a slight iso crunch with the now wrapping up Deadpool Vs MPQ. The essentials will be 5* Doctor Octopus, 4* Rocket & Groot, 3* Star-Lord and 2* Hawkeye. The placement rewards for this event, and the essentials for the next event, will be 4* Nightcrawler, 3* Ragnarok and 2* Daken. The event that follows is expected to be Thick as Thieves.
Here is the updated boost list that we’ll have for the next week:
- 4-Star: Drax, Gwenpool, The Hulk (Totally Awesome), Lockjaw, Wasp
- 3-Star: Black Widow (Grey Suit), Steve Rogers (Super Soldier), Captain Marvel (Modern), Doctor Doom, Spider-Man (Classic)
- 2-Star: Hawkeye (Modern), Thor (Marvel NOW!)
- 1-Star: Iron Man (Model 35), Juggernaut
The Hunt isn’t the only PvE event beginning on Thursday, System Reboot and a new S.H.I.E.L.D. Training will also be introduced. System Reboot will be featuring the reworked Nick Fury and Psylocke and is an untimed event where you can earn a random Nick Fury and Psylocke cover along with iso all while testing out their new abilities.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Training will feature Rogue, Invisible Woman and Elektra as the required essentials to beat the typical nodes. The iso rewards have been increased across the board but the level requirement on characters still stand. In order to access all of the non-individual nodes you will need to have Rogue, Invisible Woman and Elektra at level 120 for the first gated nodes and 209 for the last set of gated nodes. The individual training nodes are unchanged and still require quickly covering and leveling a new character to get the grand prize for the event.
Neither System Reboot nor S.H.I.E.L.D. Training is expected to have a boost list though System Reboot did have both of its essentials boosted last time.
On the PvP side, the opening event of the Time Gem season will be 3* Storm’s Category-5 with a blue Mr. Fantastic as the 4-star progression reward. The wins based progression system will be going into effect for all PvP events in the Time Gem season as well. The season reward for the S.H.I.E.L.D. simulator should be Rogue’s green cover, if traditional holds.
Between the three PvE events and the Time Gem season all beginning on Thursday, there’s a lot to look forward to going into the weekend.
